Travelling to Tanah Lot Bali

Today i want to share about my holiday in Bali.
I went to Bali and visit tanah lot and the other tourist vacation in Bali. This is the description of Bali island in wikipedia

Bali

Bali is an island and a province of Indonesia. The province covers a few small neighbouring islands as well as the island of Bali itself. It is located at the westernmost end of the Lesser Sunda Islands, between Java to the west and Lombok to the east. One of the country's 34 provinces, Bali has its capital at Denpasar towards the south of the island.

With a population recorded as 3,890,757 in the 2010 census, and currently 4.22 million, the island is home to most of Indonesia's Hindu minority. According to the 2010 Census, 84.5% of Bali's population adhered to Balinese Hinduis while most of the remainder followed Islam. Bali is also the largest tourist destination in the country and is renowned for its highly developed arts, including traditional and modern dance, sculpture, painting, leather, metalworking, and music. A tourist haven for decades, the province has seen a further surge in tourist numbers in recent years.

My Favorite places in Bali is Tanah Lot, this place is really beautifull, the view is really beautifull.Tanah Lot is a rock formation off the Indonesian island of Bali. It is home of a pilgrimage temple, the Pura Tanah Lot (literally "Tanah Lot temple"), and a popular tourist and cultural icon for photography and general exoticism

History Of Tanah Lot (Wikipedia)

Tanah Lot means "Land [sic: in the] Sea" in the Balinese language^.. Located in Tabanan, about 20 kilometres (12 mile) from Denpasar, the temple sits on a large offshore rock which has been shaped continuously over the years by the ocean tide.

Tanah Lot is claimed to be the work of the 15th-century priest Nirartha. During his travels along the south coast he saw the rock-island's beautiful setting and rested there. Some fishermen saw him, and bought him gifts. Nirartha then spent the night on the little island. Later he spoke to the fishermen and told them to build a shrine on the rock for he felt it to be a holy place to worship the Balinese sea gods.

The Tanah Lot temple was built and has been a part of Balinese mythology for centuries. The temple is one of seven sea temples around the Balinese coast. Each of the sea temples were established within eyesight of the next to form a chain along the south-western coast. However, the temple had significant Hindu influence.
At the base of the rocky island, poisonous sea snakes are believed to guard the temple from evil spirits and intruders. A giant snake purportedly protects the temple, which was created from Nirartha's scarf when he established the island.

This is my photo in Tanah Lot Bali, Indonesia.
 I has a lot of an experience there, i've never see a sunset in a beach before. in Bali, there are so many beach around our hotel if we are in Bali. I Think all the beach in Bali is Really WONDERFUL! I really like the view. there are so many a domestic and foreign tourist there, usually their activity is sunbathing. The Sun in Bali is Warm. because i'm indonesian, i'm used to this weather. Tanah Lot is the best place i've ever visited. okay that's all ^^ I hope you'll enjoy it when you visit Bali someday.
